Share a gallery with a QR code or link
Updated July 8, 2026
Every Shotfolio gallery is reachable by a single short link and a matching QR code. One link reaches everyone — there's no email list to build and no attachments to send.
Find your share link
Open the gallery from your dashboard. Each gallery has:
- a short link you can copy and paste anywhere, and
- a QR code that points to the same place.
Ways to share
| Situation | What to use |
|---|---|
| Texting a couple or a family | Copy the short link into a message |
| A crowd at an event | Print or project the QR code so people scan it on the spot |
| A team or group chat | Drop the link once; everyone opens it on their own phone |
Print the QR code and put it where people already are — courtside, at the reception table, on a table card. Guests scan it, open the gallery on their phone, and find themselves the moment it goes live.
What guests see
When someone opens the link, the gallery loads on their phone with no app to install and no account to create. They browse, and — if you've enabled it — they can find just their own photos with a selfie. To save a photo, they open it and tap the download icon.
Keeping a gallery private
If a gallery shouldn't be wide open, you can protect it so only people with the link (and any access you set) can view it. Share the link only with the people who should have it.
