Collect client favorites and selections
Updated July 8, 2026
Proofing lets your clients tell you which photos they want. Guests heart their favorites as they browse, then turn those hearts into a named, submitted selection — so you know exactly which photos to edit or deliver.
How it works for guests
- As a guest browses the gallery, they tap the heart on any photo to favorite it.
- When they're happy with their picks, they submit them as a named selection, with an optional note for you.
No account or login is required — the same open gallery link is all they need.
Where selections show up
Submitted selections appear in your dashboard, so you can see each guest's picks and any note they left. Use them to build your edit list or your final delivery.
Encourage clients to add a note when they submit — it's the perfect place for "please retouch this one" or "these are for the album," and it saves a round of emails.
Favorites vs. selections
- Favorites are the individual hearts a guest taps as they browse.
- A selection is a favorites set the guest names and submits to you. Favoriting is browsing; submitting a selection is the hand-off.
