Shoot a gallery with a teammate

Shot an event with a friend? Invite them into the gallery and their photos land in the same place as yours — credited to them, visible to guests as one collection.

Inviting someone

Open the gallery, find the Collaborators panel, and enter their email address with a role:

• Contributor — uploads photos and manages their own. They can't touch anyone else's shots, and they never see the gallery's PINs, guest selections, or view counts.
• Editor — manages every photo in the gallery, plus branding and settings. Use this for someone you'd hand the whole gallery to.

Send the invite and you get a link to pass along yourself — text it, email it, whatever's fastest. The link is single-use, tied to that email address, and expires after 14 days. If it lapses, just invite them again.

Your collaborator signs in with their own Google or Microsoft account. They don't need an existing Shotfolio account; the invite lets them create one.

Photo credit

Every photo carries the name of whoever uploaded it. You don't tag anything — Shotfolio stamps the credit at upload, from the account that sent the file.

Guests see it two ways:

• A "Photo by" credit with the shooter's name, on the full-size photo view.
• A Shot by filter above the grid, once two or more people have shot the gallery, so a guest can see just one photographer's work.

Where shared galleries appear

A gallery you've been invited into shows up on your collaborator's dashboard under Shared with me, below their own galleries. They open it, upload, and manage their photos from there.

Removing someone

The owner can revoke a collaborator at any time from the same panel — pending invite or active member. Revoking stops their access to the gallery immediately.

Photos a contributor already uploaded stay in the gallery after they're removed. If you want them gone, delete the photos too.
