Export a gallery to Google Drive

Some clients want the whole set as files, not a gallery — an athletics department, a school, a company. Instead of downloading a zip and re-uploading it, you can copy a gallery's originals straight into your Google Drive.

Connect Drive

Exporting is the gallery owner's call — collaborators don't see the button. On the gallery page, choose Export to Drive. The first time, you'll be asked to Connect Google Drive and approve access with your Google account. The connection is saved to your account, so later exports skip this step.

Run the export

Once connected, Export to Google Drive shows you what it's about to do: copy all originals into a new Drive folder named after the gallery, in the connected account's Drive. Choose Start export and a progress count runs as photos copy over.

When it finishes, you get an Open folder in Drive button. Your Shotfolio gallery is untouched — the export is a copy, not a move.

Exports send the originals, not the watermarked previews guests see. Only share the folder with people you'd hand full-resolution files to.

If an export stops

A big gallery can be interrupted — a dropped connection, a closed tab. Reopen the dialog and choose Retry: the export picks up where it left off rather than starting over or duplicating photos.

If the message says the connection is dead, choose Reconnect Google Drive. That usually means access was revoked from your Google account settings, or the connection expired.

Disconnecting

The export dialog has a Disconnect option. Shotfolio then can't reach your Drive at all until you connect again; folders it already created stay where they are.
