Publish your portfolio page
Updated August 11, 2026
Your portfolio is a public page — separate from any client gallery — showing your best work, a short bio, and a button that sends visitors straight to your booking page. It's the link to put in an Instagram bio or hand to someone who asks what you shoot.
Create it
Go to Settings and find the Portfolio card. Choose to create your portfolio and Shotfolio gives it its own public address under shotfolio.app/p/…. The card has a copy button for the link — that's the link to share.
Add photos
Portfolio photos come out of your galleries, so you're picking from work you've already delivered:
- Open a gallery.
- Select the frames you're proudest of.
- Choose Add to portfolio in the selection bar.
A portfolio holds up to 24 photos. Curate — this is the page that decides whether someone books you. Remove any photo from the Portfolio card in Settings.
Write your bio
The Portfolio card has a short bio field. A couple of sentences is right: what you shoot, where you're based, how to reach you. It also becomes the description search engines and link previews show.
The booking button
If you've set up a booking page, your portfolio shows a Book a session button that goes straight to it. No booking page yet? See Set up your booking page — the button appears once it's live.
Testimonials
Testimonials you've approved appear on your portfolio below the photos. See Collect and publish client testimonials.
Taking it offline
The Portfolio card has a public toggle. Turn it off and visitors get a "not found" page, while your photos, bio, and link are kept — flip it back on whenever you're ready. You can still open the link yourself while it's off, so you can check the page before publishing it.
